CWI Part B practice: gauge readings and replica calls
Read the gauge or the replica, pick the answer and see the reasoning step by step.
Part B is the hands-on part of the CWI exam: you measure weld replicas with a kit of gauges, look up the criteria and make the call. These free tasks rehearse that loop on original drawings, from a Hi-Lo gauge on a pipe joint to a plan-view replica with lettered marks. Our CWI Part B exam guide covers the kit and the exam format, and the weld gauge trainer drills the fillet gauge and V-WAC readings on generated cases.
Learning aid only. The drawings are schematic, not copies of any gauge maker's artwork or any exam exhibit. PS-1 values are made up for practice; on real work the governing code, the drawing and your procedure set the criteria.

Gauge readings, replica calls and PS-1 decisions
Each task is an original drawing: read the gauge or the replica, then pick the answer. Tasks that cite PS-1 use our own invented practice specification, whose values are made up for practice and are not from any code. Inch units.
